The Elmira Corning Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and the Society of Black Professionals (SBP) sponsored a Martin Luther King Breakfast Celebration, on Saturday, January 14, 2006, 9:00 to 12 noon, at the Radisson Hotel, 125 Denison Parkway East, Corning, New York.  The theme  for  this  year  was,  “Why We Still Can’t Wait.”  The keynote speaker was Dr. Donnell Walton, Research Associate, Science & Technology, Corning, Incorporated Corning, New York. The public was encouraged to support this annual event, to help ensure that Dr. King’s dream becomes a reality.
