"Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community?"

The Elmira Corning Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and the Society of Black Professionals (SBP) sponsored a Martin Luther King Breakfast Celebration, on Saturday, January 13, 2007, 9:00 to 12 noon, at the Radisson Hotel, 125 Denison Parkway East, Corning, New York.  The theme  for  this  year  was,  “Where Do We Go From Here: Community or Chaos”  The keynote speaker was Rev. Gregory Johnson, pastor at Beautiful Plain Baptist Church in Binghamton.  Reverend Johnson presented that Community fostered Courage, Character, Commitment, and Confidence". The public was encouraged to support this annual event, to help ensure that Dr. King’s dream becomes a reality.
