The Elmira-Corning Branch of the NAACP sponsored a Black History Jeopardy 2006 (based on the knowing information about particular categories related to Black History and "going to the head of the class"), on February 24, 2007 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at the Ernie Davis Community Center located at 362 East 5th Street, Elmira, New York.
The game will test the knowledge of history and events that have been instrumental in shaping African American life. Contestants according to grade levels 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12 will challenge each other. Participants will not know which questions will be asked out of a number of questions and answers that will be supplied before the event (Will be here at this website on February 10th; Study Information Link is Blackegories Study Work).
